From Brokenness to Faithfulness: How One Disciple Walked Into God’s Promises

Jason came to Church on the Street years ago carrying the weight of broken choices, instability, and a deep exhaustion that had settled into every part of his life. When he first entered the discipleship program, he needed far more than a temporary place to stay, because he needed truth, structure, prayer, and people who would not give up on him. He learned how to stay, how to listen, how to pray honestly, and how to let God begin rebuilding what had been broken for years. Through steady discipleship, Jason started replacing chaos with consistency and fear with faith. When he completed the program and moved on, he did not leave unchanged, but walked forward with a stronger foundation in Christ and a new sense of purpose. He found work, stayed connected to church, and kept building a life shaped by faithfulness instead of survival. Years later, Jason is still walking with God and serving Him with gratitude and joy. He is now the kind of man who strengthens others because he remembers what it felt like to need someone to believe that change was possible. His life is a testimony that discipleship is not just about getting through a hard season, but about becoming rooted in truth, stability, and lasting transformation.
